Meditation and breathing exercises relax, energize and support strengthening, flexibility, and balance. This relaxed class helps improve mobility. Increase bone density, inner and outer balance, calmly. Adapt this practice to your ability and needs. Move at your own pace. Sit, stand, use a chair, mat, and the wall. Every one is welcome to this restorative flowing healing process.
Encourages mindful relaxation through supported passive seated and prone poses. Breathe into stillness in each pose for increasing lengths of time. Circulation and flexibility are increased as connective tissue deeply releases. This taps into the parasympathetic nervous system, balancing energy. Use of props: walls, floors, pillows, bolsters, blankets and blocks encourage releasing the mind and body, muscles, fibers, bones and organs. A peaceful healing progesses. This class is a complement to more active Vinyasa classes and life. Bring props – blankets, pillow, towel, an eye pillow and water.
